About FT4web's future: We plan to support FT4web as long as Windows allows. However, the software was last updated in 2019 (though data updates daily). Windows is becoming increasingly restrictive with older-style programs. It's only a matter of time - maybe soon, maybe 5 years, maybe never - before Windows does its best to prevent these older programs from being functional on modern computers.

- Migrate now if you're experiencing any issues with FT4web
- At minimum, get FastTrack on your radar and have a migration plan

About This Manual

What is FT Comm? FT Comm is a standalone program that installs FT4web (the charting program) and manages the downloading, updating, and verification of data files necessary to run FT4web.

Quick Start
- Download FT Comm Installer
- Right-click ftcomminstall.zip and choose Extract All
- Open the extracted folder and run setup.exe
- Enter your account number and password
- Update your data
- Start charting!
If the ZIP installer does not work, try the alternate ClickOnce installer.

Technical notes: FT Comm requires admin privileges for installation but not after. Make sure the software has read/write access to its install folder (typically C:\FT).
