What this means:

• You'll create a new FastTrack account with your email
• Do NOT use your FT4Web account number and password

Transferring Your FT4Web Balance

If you decide to switch before your FT4Web subscription expires:

Call us at 866-295-0166 and we can transfer any remaining balance from your FT4Web subscription to FastTrack.

You don't lose the money you've already paid for FT4Web.

Migration Process

Step 1: Sign Up for FastTrack

1. Go to new.fasttrack.net
2. Click "Sign Up" or "Start Free Trial"
3. Enter your email and create a new account
4. Your 14-day trial activates immediately
5. No credit card required

Step 2: Import Your FT4Web Data

Once logged into FastTrack, import your families, chart settings, signals, and other configurations:

1. Click the person icon in the upper right corner
2. Select "My Account"
3. Go to "Data Management"
4. Use the import tools:
   • Import Families: Upload your .fnu family files
   • Import Chart Settings: Upload your chart configurations
   • Import Signals: Upload your signal definitions
   • Import Spreadsheet Settings: Upload your spreadsheet layouts

You can import multiple files at once.

Family Name Updates

FastTrack uses more descriptive family names without length limitations:

• bg-junk ? Junk Bonds
• all-eq ? All - Equity
• And many more intuitive names

Your imported families will automatically update to the new naming convention.

Step 3: Explore FastTrack

Start with the familiar:

• Sheet: Your main workspace (top black bar)
• Chart: All your favorite chart types (top black bar)

Then explore the new features:

• Portfolios: Build and backtest portfolio strategies
• Plot: Create scatter plots and advanced visualizations
• Report: View detailed fund holdings and allocations
• Dash: Customize your dashboard

Step 4: Schedule a Walkthrough (Optional but Recommended)

We offer free training and walkthroughs during market hours (9:30 AM - 4:00 PM EST).

Step 5: Run Both During Transition (Optional)

You can run FT4Web and FastTrack simultaneously during your trial.

If you sign up and pay for FastTrack, we can extend your FT4Web access for up to 2 months while you transition. This gives you a safety net while you learn the new platform.

Step 6: Cancel FT4Web When Ready

Once you're comfortable with FastTrack (typically within 2 months):

• Call 866-295-0166 x1 to cancel your FT4Web subscription
• Uninstall FT4Web and FT Comm from your computer
• You're fully migrated!

Can I import all my families at once?

Yes! You can import multiple family files (.fnu) at the same time in Data Management.

Will my family names change?

Family names are more descriptive in FastTrack (e.g., "Junk Bonds" instead of "bg-junk"). Your data imports automatically with updated names.

Can I export all my FT4Web settings before migrating?

FT4Web already saves your families, chart settings, signals, etc. as files. You'll upload these to FastTrack in Data Management.

Do I need to back up my FT4Web data first?

It's always good practice to back up, but FastTrack imports directly from your existing FT4Web files. Use FT Comm's backup feature before starting.

What if I don't like FastTrack during the trial?

No problem. Your trial expires after 14 days. Keep using FT4Web. No charges, no commitments.

Can I use FastTrack on my Mac?

Yes! FastTrack works on Mac, Windows, iPad, iPhone, Chromebook — any device with a modern browser.

Will FastTrack work on my iPad?

Yes! Open Safari (or your preferred browser) and go to new.fasttrack.net. Works great on tablets and phones.

Is the data the same as FT4Web?

Yes. Same daily updated data. Same universe of stocks, funds, and ETFs.

Are there any FT4Web features missing in FastTrack?

No. All FT4Web features are reproduced in FastTrack, plus many powerful new features.

What new features does FastTrack have that FT4Web doesn't?
